With an expected population of 8,804,190 people spreading over 778.2 kilometers in 2020. The New York Metropolis is also the heaviest population big city in the United States. The city is the hub of the New York metropolitan region. It is the biggest city in the urban areas of the world. The city is located near the southern point of the state of New York. New York is one of the most populated large cities in the world. New York has 20.1 million residents in its metropolitan statistical area. The city also has 23.5 million in its merged metropolitan area as of 2020.

NYC has been the greatest in the world for cultural, financial, and media Centres.
